The Washington County Fair Parade was held this morning. Lions member Rodney Hoppal, from Reliable Maytag on Bluff St, was in charge of getting our float all put together for us. He did a great job and dropped off these pictures.

The Dixie Rodeo Club stopped by the Lions Bldg for a photo op. They received a donation of $3,300 to help them travel to a rodeo event. The St George Lions Club will be holding work-nights for the next three Thursdays. We are looking for volunteers to come out and help spruce up the Dixie Sunbowl in preparation for the rodeo next month. We will begin at 5:00pm. Dixie Rodeo Club, attached to Dixie High School, participated in a major competition. They needed some funding help in order to participate. The Lions Club was able to provide some of their funding. They sent this nice note and photo. What a great looking group of kids!
